Designing Your Life and Career

Instead of drifting through life or defaulting to conventional career paths, this workshop teaches participants how to apply design thinking principles to life planning. By exploring values, strengths, and possible futures, attendees create multiple life and career prototypes, then test them through low-risk experiments. Exercises like the “Three Odyssey Plans” and networking mapping ensure creativity is matched with practical action. Participants leave with a flexible, personalized roadmap that integrates purpose, performance, and fulfillment. Whether you’re starting out, seeking reinvention, or facing a major transition, this program empowers you to design — not just live — your future.

Duration: 1–2 Days (Customizable)

Format: Interactive Workshop / Guided Design Lab

Mode: In-Person or Virtual

Course Overview

Too many people drift through life on autopilot — reacting to circumstances instead of intentionally creating the life and career they want. The result? A sense of being “busy but unfulfilled,” stuck in jobs or lifestyles that don’t align with their passions, values, or potential.

Inspired by design thinking (the problem-solving approach behind some of the world’s most innovative products) and enriched with insights from psychology, neuroscience, and career strategy, this course guides participants to take a designer’s approach to life — creative, experimental, and deeply personal.

The workshop blends visioning exercises, practical planning, and rapid experimentation to help participants craft a roadmap that integrates meaning, impact, and joy.

Why This Course Matters

Career landscapes are shifting faster than ever. Skills, industries, and opportunities evolve — and those who thrive are those who adapt intentionally.

Gallup research shows that 85% of employees worldwide are disengaged at work. Designing your career is no longer a luxury — it’s essential to long-term fulfillment and performance.

Studies in positive psychology prove that people who design their lives around purpose and strengths report higher well-being and resilience.
